Research has established that fragrances in skin-care products are among the most common cause of sensitizing and allergic reactions. Your skin may not look irritated or inflamed, but in reality below the surface, irritating ingredients including fragrance, can cause collagen to breakdown, and compromise the skins ability to fight daily environmental stress and damage.

Although this smells nice and does contain some helpful skin friendly ingredients like cucumber, aloe vera, glycerine, chamomile and calendula. It’s let down by the synthetic fragrant ingredients and the inclusion of geranium essential oil. These ingredients are not going to give anyone’s skin a ‘boost’ as they are known irritants to all skins, but particularly a sensitive skin. To help make an informed choice, I would advise anyone to research fragrant essential oils before using them, because there are both benefits and risks.

I understand the company was owned by Avon, but is now part of the 'Boots' group, it will be interesting to see what they do with this UK based brand.

I love many Liz Earle products and this certainly had a lovely scent and is refreshing on the skin. However, I'm not really sure what it's meant to do that would justify the price tag (by the way go to the Liz Earle website directly, much cheaper than here). It's quite a lot of money for something that smells nice and I don't notice any difference in my skin when I stop using it and swap for a far cheaper toner. The LE Cleanse and Polish and Skin Repair moisturiser are worth the money but I wouldn't say this is. Possibly those with oilier skins or those who can't use main brand toners might see more benefit(?)

Is this price just for 1? As on Liz earle web page it's 13.25 for same size! Great product though!
