I am moving to the US in August 2010. I am trying to get as much information as I can. I dont think there is a perfect book to but on the subject.
I did find information in this book by David Hampshire and the Moving to the United States by Mark A Cooper the most help, they seem to compliment each other.
Hampshires books covers, working, some visa issues, cars, sports, and day to day living, many tips will prove to be vital. Coopers' book covered the American School system verses the UK system better as well as buying a home.
This book is better laid out and much better presented, but does lack a little of some important items, it brushes over schooling. Buy both, do your research and get a good immigration attorney.

Ok, well presented and good pictures throughout. Lots of good information, lacking on visa information let the book down.

Moving to America 3 Mar 2009
Format:Paperback
Not alot more information than what you cant google on the net. I have the previous book and thought this would be more up to date. It does have some noce colour pictures, it's a very large bok and well put together, But I did not buy it for that. The informaton was lack luster to say the very least.
There are better books out there.
