Once in while, you read a book that has a profound effect on you and Living Magically is one of those books. This is not something you read and put down, never to be thought of again - the concepts behind Gill Edwards work are sometimes challenging, sometimes emotional, always wonderful. To the extent, that even after you have finished reading, the changes go on, as you realise just how deep this goes. Starting from the premise that we create our own reality, Ms Edwards explains that not only can we find joy in everything, but we can alter our way of thinking to bring joy to us.
By using the various techniques detailed in the book, by healing ourselves and our lives, we are directed towards a point where we can actually bring what we want into our lives. And it really works - I know, I do it everyday!
The style of the book is easy to read, down to earth, sometimes humourous, sometimes it brings tears to the eyes. You get the sense that Gill wrote each chapter with the most amazing love and joy, for it comes through on every page, in the words, in the concepts.
I will never be the same having read this book - I recommend it to anyone, no matter what your background, or path in life - whether you are searching for something, or happy where you are. It's worth the money, even if all you get from it is the sense of unconditional love that pours from every page.

this is one of those books that will change your life forever ! before i read this i was on the verge of giving up on life. two weeks later the world was in my hands ! an amazing read if you have ever wanted to know the truth about life and the universe. if you believe that theres more to life, then this is the book for you ! wonderful :)

Reading this book, and Gill's second book, "Stepping Into The Magic", really changed my thinking, and therefore changed my life. "Living Magically" takes you in easy steps through a whole range of concepts about living metaphysically, from how we can break through our fears, blockages and limitations and grow through love and joy, instead of pain and struggle, to how we create our own reality with our thoughts. It is easy to read, leads you logically through the ideas and each chapter contains really useful exercises or suggestions for activities which help to make the ideas "real". Definitely a "must read" if you are on a path of spiritual growth and development. Gill also offers workshops which I can highly recommend, one of which helped me to discover that what I really wanted was to be a writer myself - and my first book, entitled "Reiki" was published by her publisher, Piatkus in March 1999.
