A Springboard to Good Health, 12 May 2003
By Kimberly Quigley Singel "dragon lover's mom" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Living Foods Lifestyle (Paperback)
For me, "The Living Foods Lifestyle" was a springboard to acheiving good health again. After several years of suffering from a poor quality of health (due to chronic migraines, fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, candida among other health challenges...), this book inspired me to take the next step to acheiving amazing health. The student testimonials gave me the courage to take responsibility for my own health challenges.
Brenda Cobb's book highlights common sense logic about how good health can be achieved and maintained. The simple and easy lifestyle she describes (through her research based on Ann Wigmore) and her own healing of cancer, allergies and digestive challenges is empowering. With discipline, an open mind and heart, the healing can begin for you as it has for me.
I am so grateful to have my life back! I can have refreshing sleep, think more clearly and be productive. I can finally say I have energy...these are words that I haven't been able to say in over seven years. I am able to experience the joy of being a mother and wife without the intense and disabling pain I'd feel throughout my body due to fibromyalgia & migraines. If you suffer from a health challenge, do yourself a favor and learn about the living foods lifestyle. Good health and a positive attitude are obtainable. You can do it!

Great book for revitalizing your body, 13 Sep 2005
By Lisa M. Morrison - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Living Foods Lifestyle (Paperback)
I did not realize until getting part of the way through this book that there is a difference between a "living foods" lifestyle and a raw foods lifestyle. I thought I was buying a raw foods book. Instead, I learned about living foods -- those foods that are fermented/sprouted and are thus "live" with enzymes. This eating program would be difficult to tackle on your own without significant motivation or attending one of the author's seminars on how to prepare the foods. This book would be a lifesaver for anyone with a serious disease such as cancer. However, most people won't be able to make a go of this lifestyle without significant effort and willpower to prepare these foods and live very differently from the mainstream.

Information Everyone Needs for Optimal Health!, 14 Sep 2002
By Marcia Jones - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Living Foods Lifestyle (Paperback)
I'm so grateful that Brenda has taken the opportunity to share the road from disease to health for all who are interested! In 1979, I was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live by 3 different doctors at Stanford University who were furious that I would not submit to surgery, chemo and radiation. Brenda did what I and many others have done over the years to get our health back.
People who are sick today can do it too! But the best case scenario would be that many of you will adopt Raw and Living Foods as a preventive measure and not wait until your body is compromised and on the verge of expiration!
Blessings to all! Marcia Jones, www.TidesOfLife.com
