The style of this book tends to upset people who wish to read a book with nice long chapters, backed up with all sorts of source material. But it was written for the the poor bloody idiots jammed like sardines on the No.9 bus to read on the way to work,it was written to be read by VOTERS rather than academics. It conveys a huge quantity of information in an easily accessable format,it encourages the despised to start THINKING for themselves.Any author who questions the ruling elite and our membership of the EU will never want for enemies and, like the Cheshire cat,Dr.Coleman is almost invisible! He has become a enemy of the state, the fascist one that we live in that pretends to be democratic while crushing all who would utter so much as a bat squeak of criticism of the people in charge of our "cell block".
Dr.Coleman has reached that stage of disenchantment with our ruling elite that normally results in one of several rather unpleasant fates. He may suddenly decide to kill himself while walking in the woods in a way that defies all logic,he may suddenly be "found" to have child porn on his pc,or he may suddenly have a massive heart attack and drop dead.My personal choice is the sudden "discovery"of child porn on his pc because then the British media can be relied upon to rubbish his name and everything he has ever written, this will allow for his books to be pulled from every library and bookshop.Anyone showing an unwillingness to follow this line can then be castigated for showing support for a pervert,a few broken windows can be relied upon to show them the error of their ways!
Dr.Coleman has written yet another excellent book that will remain unread by the very people it would most help,he has destroyed his career by his defiance of the traitorous scum who have lead this country into slavery. If only the idiots on the No.9 bus could be persuaded to opt for this book rather than yet another account from Jordan's sex life we might yet save our nation from total destruction!

Here is a book written by a man who understands the natire of the world situation and how it has developed. He has to be saluted for his courage in calling a spade a spade. He has no qualms about exposing famous politicians for their sins against humanity and their betrayal of the public they were supposed to serve. When this book was first written in 2006, it must have been received with much scepticism, because what it reaveals would have been too much for the average person to swallow - especially when those people still had an unshakeable patriotic faith in authority, their country and its ruling elite. Now, ten years later, most of what this book reveals has become common knowledge, reflecting the beliefs of the average intelligent person who is able to research facts and come to a logical conclusion about what this situation really is (as opposed to what he would like it to be).

Many of us have long had the uncomfortable feeling that something is terribly wrong with life in the Western World, though we may not have been sure quite what. This book reveals exactly what has gone wrong, and how. It covers the demise of democracy, and the rise of the European Union, and how the people of Europe were tricked into giving up their sovereignty in favour of subjugating themselves to being dictated to by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats abroad. It covers the whole farcical "War on Terror" and the reasons it was contrived. It covers the effects of peak oil and the arms industry on world peace and much, much more. It demonstates the extent to which the dark futures predicted in Orwell's "1984" and Huxley's "Brave New World" have proven to be much better predictions than we dared believe.

The book is organised into a lot of numbered short paragraphs and passages that are easy to reference from the books Contents pages. This somewhat mitigates the lack of an index.

Brand new book at bargain basement price what is there not to like. He's having his usual rant again but then that is why I like his books and unfortunately there is enormous truth in what he writes.

Vernon Coleman, definitely gets a lot of what he says right, but not all.. saying that, I really enjoyed reading this book.. one thing is for certain, our politicians are not elected as you may think they are but selected by big & powerful money that own them to do their bidding and the electorate & the wider issues of running a country in the interests of the electorate are not considered... Our politicians are investing heavily in camera technology to keep us all under surveillance, under the guise of preventing terrorism of course.. Mmmm not seen many terrorist caught or prevented with the use of this technology so far... seen lots of civil rights abuses by local councils & the police though with this technology... we need to put the cameras on our politicians & scrutinise what they are doing... usually in secret, behind closed doors & never ever reported by the media... Our capitalist state has now mutated into toxic capitalism.. just look at the banksters & their get out of jail free card handed to them by a smiling David Cameron... Now comes the mutation into 21st century fascism... with the advances in technology & weaponry over the last 70 years modern fascism with make the Nazi's of WW2 look like rank amateurs...
