5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful advice for debt free living 28 July 2014

I am sad to report that I have been a person who was prone to carrying debt in my life. It is very stressful, and I have found that the only way to change it is to change your entire mindset. That's in part what this book recommends, but it goes beyond big sweeping recommendations like that and gets down into some really practical yet unique suggestions.

Living Debt Free Forever had some great ideas that I'd never heard before for budgeting - and if I've never heard it, you know it's original. Plus, it goes beyond the naughty B word to talk about how exactly to save, for what and how much, as well as how to determine where best to cut back. I'm going to keep using this system even once my debt is totally gone.

This is a great book to follow and learn from. A lot of good tips and advice. Start when you are young , saving, saving, saving. Don't spend more than your means. Great common sense guide. Teaches you how to budget, and strategies to follow. How to get into the good habits instead of creating more debt. Highly recommended for everyone to read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok if you have 0 ideas about where to start, but lacks depth 19 Aug 2014
By N - Published on Amazon.com
Not a bad place to start, but doesn't really have anything more then is easily obtainable for free. It does not go into any kind of depth about how to tackle debt, other then just spend less and pay it off. no info about creditors, how to grow money, etc. But a nice 20m read to get you motivated to start if you're starting from ground 0

3.0 out of 5 stars It was good, but way too short 22 Sep 2014
By Crystal M. Berg - Published on Amazon.com
It was good, but way too short. As soon as your interest was peaked, you were done reading the book. It was like half (if not less) the size of a regular book that you would read.
