This is one of the bands the Boston Globe calls new, smart and young. The Southern Old-Time music form is their style, as well as Bluegrass. This is a string band, a dance band and in fact, one of their "hollers" performing is John Hartford's phrase, "Dance like nobody's watching." The original songs, "Hallelujah", and "Little Bird of Heaven" won national awards. (They're impressive enough to have been chosen to be on the "Cold Mountain" soundtrack.) The band is big in the American South and West. This CD, the Band's second, has sold over 10,000 copies. You can't go wrong!
