I bought this album having been captivated by Rachel Yamagata's album "Happenstance", which illustrates her wonderful talent as a song writer and singer. However, I felt cheated by this CD which lasts for only just over 25 minutes and duplicates two of the songs found on "Happenstance", although with her personal accompaniment rather than a backing band. By contrast, the honestly titled "Ep" has over 31 minutes of music. If the track titles and timings of "Live At The Loft" had been given it is unlikely that I would have spent my money. That said, I look forward to Yamagata's next full length album, although I'll check the length before shelling out.
