I bought this book for a friend who was heading out to live and work in NZ. It is packed with every sort of bits of info you could possibly need-from entry papers, how to get a home and what to do once you get there. It's a comprehensive guide and is well worth the price of buying this book.

Having enjoyed visiting my girlfriend's aunt and uncle in NZ I'm sorely tempted to move there myself. As the book says, the clean environment, high standard of living and more relaxed pace of life attract a large number of emigrants every year. Live and Work in New Zealand gives impartial advice about the pros and cons of moving (although it's also full of colour photos which are inclined to give me more pros than cons!) It's colour-coded and helpfully grouped together so it's really easy to find all the information and you don't need to wade through loads of stuff to get to what you want. I was pleased to see it's written by someone who's moved to New Zealand herself so is actually well qualified to talk about the subject!

This is a great book. Really useful and easy to understand information in a sensible order. The book also has a lot of general information too which makes the detail stuff much more bit sized and digestable!
