I am not sure what the previous reviewer has been reading - but it clearly isn't this book. Victoria Pybus has put together a really useful reference book. She includes lots of information that is skimmed over or left out altogether in other similar titles. For example she goes into some detail about the various different business structures in France - something that I haven't seen in any other book about living and working in France. This will be hugely valuable to anyone considering setting up a new venture in France. If you need specialist advice or further information extra contact details are included alongside each subject. Don't be hoodwinked - this is a great book.

I don't know what the people who rated it low were reading, but it wasn't this book! This is one of the best books I have found on the subject. It is pretty comprehensive, and provides useful insight and information into living and working in France. Being last revised in 2002 I suspect that some of the tax/legal information is perhaps out of date, but one should always check these things yourself before commiting to something anyway, as they are always subject to rapid change.

I would not recommend this book, which is very brief and outdated in many places. I was confused with some of the informations presented. It may once have been good book when it was first written, but I would hope it would now be updated very soon.
