A different Phoenix, but a worthwhile one!,

I remember going to see Phoenix live. Expecting only a few hundred people to turn up, I was suprised when the venue packed out with thousands. Their style, live, makes this album a worthwhile purchase, as they are slightly harder in their rock than on the albums.This works particularly well with songs like "I'm an Actor" - a personal favourite due to the sheer wonderful arrogance displayed in the gig of keeping the crowd waiting mid-song (real displays of super-stardom there). Overall, a definite welcome addition to the Phoenix range - but obviously go for the two studio albums first!

A must for any Phoenix fan,

I just saw Phoenix live, and though the CD comes second to their energetic and spirited performance, it is still a great souvenier to have. For those who have missed out on Phoenix live, this is the next best thing, especially on tracks like "I'm An Actor" and "If I Ever Feel Better". Great band, it will be interesting to see what direction they go in.

I just got this last night and I'm so glad I bought it. LOVE IT!! Next best thing to actually seeing them live. Great quality CD, will be on my top 3 in the IPOD. I'm usually not a fan of LIVE CD's, but this is AWESOME!! I would def recommend this CD for any PHOENIX fan. Wish I would have bought it sooner!!

I have been a Phoenix fan for a while, I have all their studio albums and seen them live twice. It was excellent to finally get a copy of their live recording. The quality of the recording is great, although there seems to be a lack of cohesion between the tracks, because most of them are recorded from different shows. All in all, the songs are great, especially the updated Run Run Run, Funky Squaredance and If I Ever Feel Better.
