this is a perfect book for anyone interested in sound mixing wether it is a beginner or someone who has been mixing for years. It has something to offer in any circumstance and has very useful tips from duncan r frys' experience it covers the basic settup to festival settups using effects processors and other equipment thAT can be sumwhat ofputting. Fry explains with out jargon making it easily understandable in its progressive stages through out the book i reconmend it strongly for anyone who uses mixers. It should be every sound mans first call for reference.

This is an excellent book for live mixing. A sort of 'bible' for sound engineers, BUT the offered prices of $400 plus for 2nd hand copies are ridiculous.

price from duncan fry's website in Oz is $45!!!!!! and there is a link to purchasing site in USA

don't be conned into exorbitant prices!
