4.0 out of 5 stars The Hard-Man of comedy 9 Sep 2001
By A Customer
...or that's his reputation at least. I'm not too sure about that, but he certainly does rant and winge throughout most of this performance (he comes on complaining of a headache to the cheering crowds). Having said that, he might not be such a hard-man, he does manage to deal with the hecklers swiftly enough. 'Where's your widget?' and 'Where are the ladybirds?' they demand in reference to his beer adverts. 'I don't know, where's your ****ing self respect?!?' he replies. Jack seems to quite the grown-up here though, he makes jokes about being a Dad, and DIY!

This performance is a CLASSIC, from quite a few years ago now (women scream when he mentions Take That!). It's much funnier than his recent T.V. presenter-type stuff. It's quite short as it goes, about an hour. It's only one cassette (sneakily in a double cassette box) so don't be fooled.
