I just want to underline what Mark says about this fantastic album. Live offerings are usually a bit of a let-down for obsessive fans only, but this is the opposite. Nine Below Zero are a live band and this captures them at their best. I too have an old tape of this and am just upgrading my collection. By the way THIS is R'n'B, not sad tuneless over-produced pop that seems to get called R'n'B on the radio just now. Buy this.

Possibly the most atmospheric British R&B album around. Mark the Harp blasting out the rifts sends shiver down the spine. Live music at its best the only exception would be to see them live in concert and get the vibes.
I have got an old tape and have just brought the CD from Amazon.
Buy it before its out of print Its the best. Nuff said.

I own this on cassette (probably up in the loft somewhere). I bought it back when it first came out in the early 80's. It was always a favourite during my teens and early twenties and I probably played it for the last time on a car stereo maybe 15 or even 20 years ago.
Now often I find when I buy a CD of a old favourite I'm disappointed..., something is just missing somehow (hiss & tape stretch?) ..., but not in this case though, it is just how I remember it.
A great atmospheric recording of a great British blues band doing what they do best ..., getting everyone sweaty in a small club. NBZ Live at the Marquee - has aged well and it is definitely back on my favourite list again.

I was there. Splendid gig (only saw the one night though, this is compiled from 2 I believe, original release was). Always wondered why there was no more on cd release than lp. Now there is, hurrah! Buy it now!

They don't play music this good on the radio. The CD really captures the atmosphere of a live gig, and musically it is spot on.
Hard to keep still listening to it.
You'll wish you had been there.
Better than the other live CD.

A great album. Been a fan since the early 80's when this was recorded. Added bonus of DVD made me buy yet another copy. Prompt delivery.
