This live CD isn't really any such thing. Recorded at the Bash On Ash, Phoenix, Arizona in 2003, with some additional
recording done at the Galaxy Theater, Anaheim, California, the same year, this is actually the audio from a DVD release that came out a few years back, now creeping out as a standalone CD. At the time, it wasn't released in Europe, but here we go.
Over 13 songs, they manage to cover most of their career, going right back to their debut album, "Doomsday For The Deceiver" for "Hammerhead" and plucking three from their sophomore release, "No Place For Disgrace". It's easy to see why they never really cracked it, as a lot of the later material is fairly generic, and they probably reached the level they deserved to.
Soundwise it's no great shakes, and if this was the first F&J album you'd heard, you wouldn;t go back for more. But for fans and diehard thrashers, there's 4 or 5 ongs you'll enjoy hearing live, with "Chemical Noose" by far the best.
