Summer's here and the time is right for Rod & Gab's first love: wowing crowds in the big fields across Europe. To coincide with their tour dates, Rubyworks is set to release 'Live In France', recorded at various venues around the Fifth Republic on the 11:11 world tour.

It's a very different live document to 2008's 'Live In Japan', which marked the end of Rod & Gab's seated performances. Their live shows are constantly evolving and the 11:11 tour mixed deft acoustic dexterity with an electrifying shred-fest of white hot duelling guitars. No chairs then, but plenty of FX pedal hopping and feet on the monitors rocking.

disappointed with the album not enough new content, although nice to hear the live variations. think they have over done 11:11. It does illustrate their technical ability in making the guitars "sing" and shows their ability to produce exciting sounds.

The manchester/Dublin live album was far better: more variety, light and shade, real tunes. This is just fast and furious, apart from Rodrigo's solo. So its overwhelming and unlistenable to after a while. So a disappointment.Live In France

I love Rodrigo and Garbriela! They are very talented. This CD was a gift for my husband, and we both adore it, our kids love dancing to it as well. It's just so nice to listen to.
