Cannot understand the "*" review and can only suggest that anyone who considers buying this DVD completely disregard it! To use a USA expression the lady rocks, from start to finish. She really engages with her audience and, certainly at this gig, you can see that she is truly enjoying herself. I had never heard the album Wildest Dreams but that had nothing to do with my buying this DVD. I bought it because I have seen Tina live and wanted a representation of her phenominal energy, voice and character. They are all here. I think this may have been shot in standard format and then 'stretched' for wide screen as the 54 odd (?) year old lady appears a bit broad but who gives a damn and anyway, for the female viewers, the beef cake who plays sax will be far more relevant! The production is very good with all musicians and the audience being given ample coverage - you almost feel like you are there but you have to link to your amplifier and wind up the volume. Springsteen interacts with his audience, just like Tina and that makes such a difference. I have just watched Don Henley's Live Inide Job and technically it is fine but with zero, zilch atmosphere. He just stands there and sings. Tina on the other hand "Hello evrybody, are you doing all right? I said are you doing aaaal right?! OK lets party!" As I say, the lady rocks. One last point. Her finale track 'On Silent Wings' is enormously powerful and emotional and I will find this and rip it into my Real Player library. Enjoy.
