4.0 out of 5 stars Yet another bizarre compilation with some worth 13 July 2012
Format:Audio CD
How an artist of this magnitude gets this sort of treatment via record labels is such a disappointment. Here again are another seven tracks, most of which are unexplained and unsourced. Procession and All Tomorrow's Parties are the exception: 2 early-80s studio tracks, inexplicably separated and presented as tracks 2 and 4. Also thrown into the mix are some live tracks. Of import is most of side 4 from the Behind The Iron Curtain 2LP set are also on this release. When that album was reissued in CD format, side 4 was omitted, probably done to prevent it from becoming a 2CD set. So, those are valuable tracks for completists to have as this will complete that set as well as offering the previously mentioned two important early 80s studio tracks. Overall, this presently reviewed album certainly has value for the rarities it contains, but no effort was made to explain why should be sought after. Additionally, the track sequencing is an arbitrary and confusing mess.

5.0 out of 5 stars overlooked but essential for my funny valentine 18 Aug 2009
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
My title says it all. Most of the album is familiar stuff, and this would be a good intro to Nico. But the highlight is her version of 'My Funny Valentine' which is the most heartbreakingly beautiful rendition of that song I've ever heard, and which isn't available on any compilations that I know of.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Nico Bootleg 13 Jan 2012
By Dr. D. - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I have nothing against ROIO; "Records Of Indeterminant Origin"; but I DO prefer to see them listed as such.
As others have indicated, the lineup is Great; the 12" single w/ the Invisible Girls is NOT an easy find in mint
condition; more ROIO's are listed than you may know; well, now you know at LEAST one of them! Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars A cheap CD that has some more difficult to find tracks 12 Nov 2007
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
The main attraction to this CD is that it contains the complete "All Tomorrow's Parties" / "Procession" single recorded by Nico with "The Invivisble Girls" in 1982, along with some other concert tracks, at a very cheap cost.

Other CDs that have the single cost quite a bit more.

4.0 out of 5 stars For Fans 20 Dec 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

I love the VU and I love Nico...so I like this CD. The sound qualities pretty cool, and the song selection is great...its a lot of fun, but not essential or anything.
