I bought this for my hubby who is a massive INXS fan (Michael Hutchence era, not the line up featuring whatshisname).
I briefly watched parts of this DVD to make sure it worked before handing it over. How disappointed I was. It looks like the whole thing has been recorded at an amateur level on someones camcorder and just transferred to DVD. When you compare it to the camera work of Live Baby Live its just not very good. The bits that I saw all seem long-distance shots. There's also the annoying tv station logo permanently situated in the top right-hand corner.
On the plus side though, my hubby thought the audio was good and he liked the fact that all their old songs featured.
I suppose for those mega-fans out there then this will do but it just doesn't compare to some of their other DVDs. Save your money!

Once again I've bit on something I knew I should avoid...so maybe I can save some of my online friends a few bucks! This is a Rockpalast show from 1984 and it might even be worth owning...but the video is not only second generation at best but this company Immortal continues in its tradition of taking old full screen shows, stretching them to widescreen format (everyone gets a bit fatter in the process) to make them seem more current?
Unless you just have to have every bit of INXS on DVD you can get...wait for a legit release, this has to be some sort of boot... I'd sell mine but the prices are dropping fast!

Michael sounds great, is great, and looks absolutely gorgeous. I am a huge fan of Michael Hutchence. I happen to think he's the best frontman of all time. Naturally, I want everything of Michael's!!! If you are a fan like I am, everything with Michael is so worth it!!!
