Another LIVE session with the Best in Country music ever, I think. Western Swing is Waylon Jennings! Buy it, and listen and enjoy, only Waylon get's away with everything.......he was just the greatest Country Music singer and writer, I have ever listened to. Kind Regards from Denmark, Jens Munk

Live from Austin, TX '84

This beautiful man with the endlessly remarkable voice delivers such greats you gotta wonder how he ever felt he needed any drugs to shore himself up. Really wish he were here to keep on soaring and making the world such a happier place.

I have always loved Waylon. This is kind of feeling Waylon is home, since he was a native Texan. So glad to have this among the albums I have by Waylon. It keeps him alive forever for his fans.
4.0 out of 5 stars Waylon Jennings "Live From Austin, Texas 1984" = A Great, but Short Concert!!!!!!! 14 April 2010
By Gary Covington - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
I would definitely give this one a 5 star rating if it was longer. Its only about 41 minutes. They don't waste anytime between songs, for sure. This is an excellent concert. It was filmed on August 6, 1984. Waylon' band is as follows: Waylon Jennings on lead vocals & lead guitar, Jerry Bridges on bass, Gary Scruggs (son of Earl Scruggs, the bluegrass legend) on guitar & harmonia, Ralph Mooney on pedal steel guitar, Dan Mustoe on drums, and Floyd Domino on piano.

The song set:
1.Are you ready for the Country
2.Clyde (a J.J.Cale song)
3.I can get off on you
4.People up in Texas
5.It's not suppose to be that way
6.Don't you think this outlaw bit's done got out of hand
7.You asked me to
8.Dreaming my dreams with you
9.Good hearted woman
10.I may be used (but baby I ain't used up)
11.Let's turn back the years
12.Honky Tonk heros
13.I ain't living long like this
14.I've always been crazy

Overall, this is a great concert, but I wish it was longer. Thanks!!!!
