Mr. Comfort cares very much about the eternal destiny of every person reading these words. But why should that matter to you? Because we as frail humans are all just one heartbeat away from eternity. And once that silver cord that tethers us to this life is cut, our fates are sealed. But you are a good person, right? Maybe so humanly speaking, but that is not enough to get you into heaven. Ray explains why, because the problem is, people in general (including many Christians) are abysmally ignorant about what the Bible actually says, and it says a lot about heaven and hell. Jesus was very clear on these two very different destinies and He speaks openly and often about them in the New Testament. Yet people remain ignorant, which is why Ray has written so passionately and so accurately about the subject. The Bible is actually a legal document and we are all legally bound by what it says, whether we know it or not. When your spirit slips the surly bonds of earth, where will you go? Up, or down? If you want to go knock knock knockin' on heaven's gate when that day comes, going to church by itself is not enough to get you there, you must have a relationship with God. SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, READ THIS BOOK. As Ray says so well, there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, READ THIS BOOK!
P.S. for more of the back story, read "23 Minutes in Hell" by Bill Wiese. After reading his visit to that awful, burning, worm-devouring place of torment from which there is no surcease, ever, I dare you to say that this man's experience does not ring true.
Again, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THIS BOOK! And read Bill's book too!
