Music has always been a large part of Almodovar's movie making, but LIVE FLESH marks a point of no return. If one could take his earlier works and make a good compilaion with LIVE FLESH that just wouldn't work, LIVE FLESH soundtrack is a whole, live thing that you cant break without killing it. Even if you didn't see the movie the music will tell you everything. The performers don't play instruments, they touch the strings in your heart.
