just received all of b.c.cs cds in mail this week heard of the band a couple of years back , listened to the b.cc 1 album sampler at the fye record store and thought it was mediocre the 25 seconds per song, but anyway im a big fan of glenn hughes back to the days of deep purple when he replaced roger glover on bass and added some soulful vocals with david coverdale on stormbringer and come taste the band, his funk style bass and soul voice brought out a different deep purple but i thought in a good way stormbringer is my fav d.p. album to this day, hughes also sung in the black sabbath album 7th star which i thought his vocals on their were real strong but i always liked his voice in duet better like the d.p. days of course thats where some of b.c.c comes in him and bonamessa dueting a little. anyway jason bonham also we all know the son of legendary zeppelin drummer john bonham ... i was flippin thru the channels on t.v a few weeks ago and b.c.c was doing a live concert and i sat down and actually listened to them and i was floored , so i immediatly ordered all b.c.c. cds on amazon this live over europe is the last one i got in mail today been listening to the other 2 i got in mail a few days ago ,by god i think j.b is every bit as good on drums as his dad ,hughes vocals and bass really great ,keyboardist derek sherinian which i really know nothing of but i do now a lot like jon lord of deep purple and guitarist joe bonamessa the same has a little bit of a ritchie blackmore sound from time to time, but the song on this live album that really sticks in my head and probably is gonna be my favorite is one last soul , hughes voice really shows stamina when he kicks in on this , this is a more zeppelin ,deep purple sounding group but of course look at whos in the band i cannot believe i let this group slip under my radar!!!!!!!!!!!!
