This adventurous band was in many ways ahead of their time. Dale Bozzio playing the role of intelligent sex-symbol way before Madonna. And the band mixing avantgarde with pop, relying heavily on the virtuosity of the bandmembers: drumlegend Terry Bozzio, guitarist Warren Cucurullo, who later joined Duran Duran some years and the potent and inventive bassplayer Patrick O'Hearn, who later concentrated on new age like music and movie-scores. All four members having played with Frank Zappa for years, which certainly is audible.

These recordings date back to their tour in support of "Rhyme And Reason", arguably their strongest collection of songs. This is inspired stuff that sounds just as fresh and inventive today as it did when recorded 20 years ago.
