Depending on which earlier version of Live Chronicles you have, this two disc version contains at least five extra tracks, most of which are narration. Although completism says this is worth buying, I would suggest that the previous live CD is more than adequate for conveying what it was like to experience this tour (something I did at least four times).
This version has the extra few tracks, and a decent booklet included, which let me know that I was at the last ever performance of this set. Also as noted before the first two tracks on CD 2 sound awful.
If you haven't got a copy of this at all then this is well recommended - the set is rich with vocals from Huw, solid playing, great soundscapes from Harey and is pure joy - after all haven't a lot of Hawk fans also read the Moorcock novels this is based on?
