This long-awaited cd doesn't let the true Sweet-fan down in any way. This 1973 concert was previously released in 1975 as part of the Strung up album & is now available in its complete form.
This is a great rock album. The sound is raw,the energy is high & the songs are good. Brian Connolly's vocie is as raw as they come.
The only bad thing is The man with the golden arm, a 13-minute long track with drum solo that wasn't fun on Desolation Boulevard either.
Apart from that this album really packs a punch & is an essential item for the real rock fan. It's right up there with Jerry Lee Lewis Live at the Star Club & Ramones It's alive. Why not release it on DVD since it was filmed by the BBC?
