On the 30th June 1990 in the grounds of Knebworth House a concert was staged to raise funds for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and the Brit School For Performing Arts. It has since been heralded as the best British rock concert of all time . The breathtaking performing line-up was drawn entirely from acts who had been recipients of the prestigious Sliver Clef Award presented annually by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy for outstanding services to the British Music Industry. All the artists gave their time and performances for free in order to support the charity and this 20th Anniversary deluxe edition will continue to raise funds so that they can continue their invaluable work. The Deluxe Edition contains the double DVD & the double CD in the same package for the first time. Also included are a replica of the original event programme and a replica of the original ticket for the event. These are packaged together in a fold out digipack inside a slipcase with metallic silver ink lettering.

My brother and I went to this gig. Pink Floyd playing the closing set with their laser light display cutting through the drizzle just before midnight is something I will always remember. This brilliant CD and DVD brought back great memories of a fantastic day.
The real thing cannot be experienced any more, but this is probably as close as you can get - put it in the drive, turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy!!

What a great package this is, 2 dvd's, 2 cd's, a replica mini programme and ticket. For me its a nostalgic memory from 20yrs ago. I never brought the cd or dvd sets from back then. So i'm glad a 20th Anniversary release has come out.
I remember a wet start and end to the show and then a 4hr trek home afterwards. But it was a great event, even if a very long day. Even though this release is very highlighted its a great highlight. The quality of the picture and sound are good, (Remember its 1990 not 2010 HD). I like the presentation of the box as well.
It's a shame it's not the full 11hr show but i guess that will never be available.
I still have my full size programme with ticket in the back. My T-shirt from that day faded and died years ago, but at least i have a memory from that day again now. Well worth the money
