Product Description

Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Status Quo, Paul McCartney, Tears For Fears, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Robert Plant, Cliff Richard and The Shadows, Dire Straits, Genesis.

I waited a long time for this DVD to come out.

Every band is on top form. What a line up. The sound is fantastic. Just buy it, you won't be dissapointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Concur with volume drop reports 10 Feb 2011
I waited a hell of a long time for this film, and always remembered a great day with some of the best artists of the UK on good form. Particularly the rare new-at-the-time song from Knopfler, which is found nowhere else.

This DVD is unfortunately UNLISTENABLE and I would like my money back to be honest. I haven't had time to sort that out, but the volume drops are unbelievable - imho it's the same kind of volume dropping that comes from very very bad use of compression. Anyway, I love the concert, but cannot listen to this dvd - i wish i could get in touch with the publishers, because they should be ashamed of this lack of quality.

I cannot advise anyone to buy it as yet.

4.0 out of 5 stars No Comfortably Numb 28 Mar 2011
I have enjoyed this DVD but sadly missing is Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb which was performed at the concert.
I watched it on TV live and the performance with the rain pouring down David's Strat and the light show was spectacular.

Great to recall the memories that this 'super gig' provided. I was there and although you could not capture every single second this DVD certainly goes most of the way

1.0 out of 5 stars Sound just terrible
I join with the opinion from amazon.com store: There are thousands of volume drops throughout the two discs, and it's just generally poorly mixed. Read more
