We have an old dog with heart and chest trouble and somedays she wheezes like an accordion, this scope means we can keep a ear on whats going on meaning we can get her any treatment before she gets too ill, good for her, peace of mind for us. the scope we had before was worse than useless, so for our peace of mind well worth the exta pennies.

i am a first year med student and have bought this new stethoscope and i love it...not only is a good quality one but it also a well known brand...i feel professional with it and it is better to invest in a good one rather than a crappy stethoscope...it does not hurt my ears like other stethoscopes...

Solid, reliable, fine acoustics as ever - and the colour is great... so few of them about, I don't think this one will get lifted so easily as some! I had a gap of using basic red hospital ones until this replacement: this reminds me why you do need a proper one [I thought I was going deaf].

I go to med school in London and our uni has plenty of stethoscopes. They have the cheap ones and the quality of the sound is far better on this.

My only regret is that for the same price i could of got one from another site, with free engraving. When i went on placement the first thing i was told was to put my name on it or it will go missing.

Great stethoscope, as always by Littmann. I chose this colour to be distinctive however the colour isn't as vibrant when it arrives.

I first got one of these as a medical student. Back then I didn't realise how good they were. I learned using one of these and I am glad I did. They are as clear as you can get with a stethoscope and back then, made learning so much easier. They come with an different pair of ear tips which is handy. There is a rubber rim to ease that very chilly feeling for patients during usage. The sound is incredibly good.

Cheaper stethoscopes don't even compare in my experience, and it is such an essential tool it is worth getting it right and getting one that is clear and lasts.

Recommended.

i found no extra diapharam and exta ear piece is very hard. usually all lithman sthethoscopes sell with an extra soft ear piece and a diaphram. product is ok .

I am training to go into nursing and wanted to work on my skills with blood pressures. Now my hearing is pretty rubbish and the cheap stethoscopes were not doing it for me, so I decided to invest in a better quality stethoscope. I was surprised by how clear the sound quality was and easily got the hang of blood pressures once I swapped from my old cheap and nasty one over to a Littmann. I got orange as I noticed most doctor's have black or maroon ones, orange is a bit more individual so there is less chance of someone swiping it and claiming it is theirs!

I have been using the Littmann Classic II S.E. since 1994. The design remains a classic, probably the most minimalist stethoscope around. The earpieces are the most comfortable around - they need checking every so often though, as the can unscrew themselves a bit with regular usage.
