I bought this game for my 7 year old and she loves it. It's lots of fun. The game starts by giving the player tasks to complete. Everything is simple and well explained and the tasks teach the player about how to play the game. As you play games you earn kibble (money) which allows you to buy more pets and play sets that the pets can play on. As you expand your pet shop more games become unlocked and more 'worlds' unlock for you to play in.
There is not much difference between the three pet shop games available ie Jungle, Winter and Garden(My mother bought my daughter the Jungle game). There are 14 pets that are common to all three versions and 6 that are exclusive to each, eg the 'Littlest Pink Bunny 500', as seen on the cover of the game can only be found in the Garden version. Other than that the games have exactly the same format. They all contain a pet Plaza for your pets to play in and the the games go on to unlock the Jungle, the Garden and the Winter worlds.
For the review which stated that their game was all in German you have to select the language at the start of the game set up. There are twelve to choose from.
I highly recommend this game especially if your kids already love LPS The games are a lot of fun whatever your age, however we haven't as yet worked out where you find the secret passwords needed to unlock extras!
