I got this rain cover for our Discoverer backpack and although it is not advertised as been compatible if you check the "littlelife" website it will fit this type of backpack. I'm glad as there's no other rain cover on offer that will fit! Anyway, the rain cover is compact and fits inside it's own little bag when not in use. I can fit this in to the bottom of the backpack. However, trying to get the rain cover on is very fiddly - you have to do it when the baby is on the backpack already - set up the frame (get the metal bits connecting the right way around) and then slide the cover over it - all while baby is trying to pull it down and protest loudly. Once it's on it fits good and no leaks but the front panel which is supposed to be able to scroll back so baby can look out doesn't really scroll back and I needed to use a hair clip to keep if falling back down.
So in conclusion does the job but could be much better designed.
