Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Dear Mum and Dad, Please please PLEEEEZ let me come home. You just think I am a goody-goody, I bet. Is that the reason why I have to go away for badness lessons? I only cleaned my teeth last week for a joke. And brushing my fur, and going to bed early, that was just tricks to trick you! Why must I go to Cunning College to learn Uncle Bigbad's 9 Rules of Badness? Please let me come home and learn to be bad at home. PLEE-E-EEZ. Yours fedupply Little Wolf
All Little Wolf wants to do is stay home with his mum and dad and baby brother, Smellybreff. Instead he is packed of to Cunning College to earn a Gold BAD Badge. At Cunning College, he finds the first three rules fairly easy to master--after all, huffing and puffing a lot, saying loads of rude words and fibbing your head off aren't such difficult things to learn. But as for the rest...Little Wolf just does not understand, and through his letters to his family the reader is learns just what he is really going through while he is so far away from home.

A highly original, wickedly funny book, Little Wolf's Book of Badness is an absolute hoot and is a must for any child who enjoys a good giggle. Parents, too, will wallow in the wit of the writing which deservedly won the author Ian Whybrow and illustrator Tony Ross the TSB Birmingham Book Award and the prestigious Di Cento Prize in Italy--just one of the many countries in which it is published.

A great book for reading together (with endless opportunities for the grown-ups to really get into the part!), Little Wolf's Book of Badness will appeal to the child in everyone and delight young readers everywhere. (Age 5 and over) --Susan Harrison --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

THE best childrens book I have read, possibly ever. the book is completely original, written in diary mode from the view of the central character (Little Wolf) as he goes away to a boarding school with a difference. great illustrations too, look out for the episode where the two central characters fix their smiles on a windy hill top. very funny indeed.

Rarrrrrrrrrrr! 15 Mar 2008
Format:Paperback
Meet Little Wolf at his very first adventure at Cunning College which is ran by his mean, old smelly Uncle Bigdad. He had to go there because he, Little Wolf, was not at all bad (or so his parents thought). The book is set out as several letters to Little's parents in the Lair. In the first book (this one), all he wants to do is go back home to his parents because he hates it at the terrible place he is at. This book is witty, clever and overall fabulously written. `Little Wolf's Book of Badness' is absolutely excellent and I would recommend it, despite the fact that it is, actually, for the little kids that are aged between 4 - 8, to any cheeky child that needs a real good giggle or any pleasant parent that needs a cheerful chuckle. I really enjoyed it and I think that you, your youngsters (if you have any), your parents and really your whole family, will get great pleasure from reading this fantastic fiction, perfect paperback, well overall brill book.
