my son loves this car, he loves hes got a door to open and close and he can pretend to put petrol in his petrol cap,he has a radio that makes a siren noise the wires not very long on it but i guess its for safty, i thought it was a bit hard to build, i had trouble with roof and the 2 front parts to keep them on, they kept falling of every time i lifted the foof to put it on the car but other than that it was quite easy once you got going, its all worth it in the end once you see your kids face light up with joy,

I ordered this specifically for the electronic lights and sounds. If I had wanted one without I would have bought the cosy coupe for £20 less. I love amazon and have bought nearly all my Christmas presents with them. However, I ordered this at the beginning of November as it said it would take about 4 weeks to deliver. Which was fine as it was a Christmas present. It came when it said it would and a quick look in the box confirmed it was a little tikes police car. So I hid it in the box out of sight of my little ones and finally got it out to assemble last week. I had started to assemble it when I suddenly realised that the lights were missing. So a quick look back on amazon at the item I had ordered showed that this was the basic model and not the one I had ordered.
Seeing as it was less than 2 weeks before Christmas I fully assembled it and wrapped it as I doubt that I would receive another on time and did not want to take the risk.
I contacted amazon who said if I sent it back they would give me a full refund but I'm not going to do that now. It's too late. I'm just annoyed. I have never had any problems like this with amazon before and I understand that mistakes happen but they still have it advertised as the product with the electronics and from the previous reviewer I am not alone in receiving the incorrect product.
I'm sure my little one will love the car, fortunately he's too young to know that there was one with lights! It is tricky to assemble but hopefully worth it.

I waited a number of weeks for delivery of this item, which I had ordered from Amazon because it was the model which featured the flashing light and the microphone with sounds (both of these were pictured and described on the item page very clearly). I had the item delivered to my parents address so that they could assemble prior to my little boys birthday - it arrived just in time - the day before and my father spent nearly 2 hours assembling it piece by tiny piece. When they delivered the item the next day it did not feature the lights on the top and the microphone it was the very basic model. I contacted Amazon straight away, the customer service rep was very vague and blank she would not confirm she understood what i was saying about the picture/ description of the item being different after a long painful conversation the only help she could offer was to say that the item was no longer available so I could return it at my cost in the original packaging. I explained that it was assembled at much time effort to my father and she offered a small refund (which did not discunt the item to the cost of what I could have purchased it for as the basic model it was), after asking to speak to a manager she conceeded they would collect for a full refund. I have now ordered the correct toy elsewhere and we will no doubt spend another few hrs assembling it again - but atleast I will have received what I paid for and it is a bit cheaperLittle Tikes Patrol Police Car - Black - do not be fooled into buying this item from Amazon if it does come back in stock as you will not get what you pay for!!!
