About the Author
Steve Smallman lives in Staffordshire with his wife and the two youngest of his four children. He has been illustrating books for over thirty years, and writing his own stories for the past five. Steve won the Sheffield Children's Book Award in 2009 with Smelly Peter - The Great Pea Eater. Joelle Dreidemy was born in Saint-Avold in France. She gained a diploma in Strasbourg in 2002 and a diploma from the famous Emile Cohl School in Lyon in 2004. Joelle lives and works in Paris, producing illustrations for magazines and children's books.

I bought this book and passed it onto my kids to read without looking. Last night it was selected as a bedtime story for Daddy to read.Later last night Daddy informed me of the reason for all the toilet humour we have been experiencing the last week,he was quite grumpy! So I started to read it.....it was just what I needed a real tonic, I laughed till my sides nearly split!

I love this book! It is very cheeky and some parents (including my own!) will dissaprove however I love it! My little boy (21 months)was bought this and is too young and perhaps too mature to appreciate it but I know when he is older he will love it as much as me! I have since bought one for a friends child! Not suitable for prudes or parents who wish their children to refrain from a good botty burp!

We bought this after having it out of the library for so long!We love smelly peter the great pea eater so gave little stinker a read and haven't stopped my son loves it!Basically its about a fish who does very smelly windy pops, your kids will love it!!
