I first heard this track about two months ago, and have been waiting ever since to get my hands on a copy! The original song from the soundtrack of "The Lost Boys" was a haunting melody with some fantastic lyrics. This updated Trance/Dance version by The Lost Brothers still keeps the melody of the original but adds a fast paced back beat which enhances the quality of the song and brings it bang up to date.
The Lost Brothers are not well known in the mainstream, however this Trance remix of "Cry Little Sister" will sure to please fans of the original

A great tribute to fantastic old tune, and well worth repeated listens. Give it a try - no disappointments!

Fabulous re-working of the Lost Boy Original, Cry Little Sister. Its not better than the original as many have said, nor is it worse. It is just different. More upbeat as you'd expect a dance track to be. It helped me drive across Europe in a matt-black 1988 Merc' on a banger rally last year, with The Lost Boys plastered down the side. Raising over £1700 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in the process!

WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS SONG I WANTED TO CRY. THE ORIGINAL HAS BEEN MY FAVOURITE SONG FOR MANY YEARS BUT THIS VERSION IS REALLY BAD. IT HAS NO ATMOSPHERE AND AS THE ORIGINAL IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST HAUNTING SONGS EVER RECORDED I WOULD SUGGEST THAT PEOPLE STOP ATTEMPTING TO COVER SONGS AS GOOD AS THIS. ITS IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS U2; NEW YEARS DAY WHICH WAS MIXED AS NEW YEARS DUB AND ACTUALLY MADE ME HATE THAT SONG.

I remember hearing this (as most of us did) in the lost boys soundtrack. Its one of those tracks you skip back to hear again and agian and when this was released i wasnt sure what to expect. But its damn good and worth the small price to buy.

I'm horrified 19 Feb. 2005

If you're a fan of the original you probably won't like this upbeat dance mix. Wait for a sample to hear before you waste your hard earned cash.

G Tom Mac! with the Lost Brothers! This has to be good! 21 Sept. 2004
By IndustriaLord - Published on Amazon.com

The Lost Brothers knew what they were doin' when they brought back the song that never went away for most. But they Re-Charged it. Re-Amped it. Re-vived, and Re-VAMPED. But it would not be quite what it is had G Tom Mac aka Gerard Mcmann not once again sang vocals some 16 years later. He sounds better then ever. In fact, this was way overdue, but I have created a Tribute site to G Tom Mac. Not using this album review as a "promo", but thought if you liked this song, why not take a look at the man behind it. ~IndustriaLords' Tribute to G Tom Mac~ [...]

Oh!... And did I mention the video's "wicked"! And these Female Vampyre's? Where o' Where? I Need You Now! yoUrS ForEVErmoRe, IndustriaLord / AEBarr
