Product Description

At last, a Little Book of Quitting, containing more than 100 inspirational and memorable phrases to reinforce Allen Carr's successful message. A perfect gift book and impulse purchase for those who want to give up or for people eager to help smokers kick the habit.

About the Author

Allen Carr was an accountant and smoked 100 cigarettes a day until he gave up and wrote this bestselling book. He built a hugely successful network of stop-smoking clinics across the world and is the author of The Only Way to Stop Smoking, How to Stop Your Child Smoking, The Easy Way to Enjoy Flying and The Easyweigh to Lose Weight. In 2004 Allen published his bestselling autobiography Packing It In (Michael Joseph). He was diagnosed with lung cancer in the summer of 2006 and died in November of the same year. It seems likely that the years he spent curing smokers in smoke-filled sessions at his clinics must have contributed to this illness, but Allen Carr remained positive; 'Given that I am informed that I have cured at least 10 million smokers on a conservative estimation, it's a price worth paying.'

ALL of my friends that have read this book have ALL stopped smoking. I smoked my first cigarette at the age of nine and now aged 34 I've decided to give it up.
At no stage did I think that I would ever be successful but I haven't smoked a single cigarette since finishing this book. I feel wonderful and free at last!
If you want to give up or even if you think that it would be nice to give up, read this book and you will not want to smoke again.

I read this tiny little book one evening and was a non-smoker by the next morning. And this was more than 2 years ago! The trick is to start thinking in a different way. It is unbelievably simple, you don't need huge amounts of will power or self discipline, just your own free choice. It's healthier, cheaper, cleaner and you get to feel very self-empowered. Do it today.

Simplicity Itself 4 Nov 2002
Format:Paperback
Using this book really is the EASYWAY! Forget patches, gum etc by simply understanding the points made in the book not only will you stop smoking but you will actually enjoy it.
I have smoked 20 a day for the past 9 years and have tried unsuccessfully to stop many times before. In the past I was depriving myself of cigarettes. This time having read and understood this book I am not smoking because I don't want to smoke anymore. It is as simple as that. Allen Carr brings the reality of smoking to the fore in a straightforward style that can not be ignored.
