My son was bought this for Christmas at 18mths old and loved it immediately. As well as the stable and fencing the set includes 3 horses, a dog, 2 people, a tractor & trailer plus various "crops". The stable has 4 different sound effects and he especially loves the tune triggered by the entrance, swaying along to it happily.

It's the first time I've seen him use imaginative play and he takes the horse up to the feeding trough to eat apples ("crunch" sound) and drink water ("slurp" sound). Unfortunately his Dad thought the water was blue straw but there's just no helping some people!

This is usually the first toy he gets out each day, so I've just been adding other Little People toys to his wish list and hopefully he'll be lucky on his birthday.
