Little Miss Sunshine Teaches English

The program teaches English in a unique and entertaining way and is in three sections. Start by listening to the story of Little Miss Sunshine's visit to Miseryland. Each page of the story turns automatically and is followed by delightful and charming animation. This software is aimed at three- to seven-year-olds--the toddler will be thrilled to see their favourite characters come to life, while the slow pace of the story will help the older reader follow the words on each page.

The second section of the CD-ROM plays the story again, but this time watch as your child explores the English language in a subtle and refreshing way. This section is very substantial (the program supports the UK Curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2 in English). It is also fully interactive and easy to use. Click on any word to hear the correct pronunciation. Questions at the end of each page will improve your child's comprehension and teach them about reading, word endings and much more--spend as little or as much time as you want on each lesson. This section is funny too. Watch with delight as your child makes the animated worms dance, sing, laugh and hide.

Lastly let your child enjoy the activity section. As well as singing along to the cheerful "Giggle, Chuckle, Laugh and Sing", your child can enjoy a selection of dot-to-dot drawings and colourings which can all be easily printed off for a rainy day. Less demanding than the previous section, this provides a comfortable ending to a thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience. You will enjoy improving your English with a different lesson offered on each page. Repeat these lively exercises as many times as you like or skip onto the next page.
