A humorous look at how to live your life in an environmentally friendly way, without breaking the bank or becoming an eco-hippy. Most people, unless they are really committed, don't have the time to sit down and seriously tackle a book on the environment, but many of us feel we'd like to be doing more to help. This easy-to-read little book solves that dilemma. It's full of really valid, practical ideas that are easy to put into action, and the asides (and pictures) are universally funny. There's a tip per page, and sensible explanations as to why each suggestion will benefit the environment. The author doesn't preach, and keeps the tone light-hearted - but the end section of the book, with its sobering facts on what we're doing to the world around us, reinforces its message eloquently. The book should appeal equally to those who are already living green, and to those who, like me, need some gentle persuasion!
