Ten simple-to-do demonstrations of different aspects of astronomy without even looking out of the window, from a simple model 2D model of the solar system to looking at the conditions needed for life to flourish. Everything you need is included in the kit except for a torch and sticky tape. My five-year-old loved it all, particularly putting a pot of cress seeds in the freezer to see if things could grow on Saturn. Durability is not really applicable: it is pretty much a single-use set. Highly recommended for inquisitive 5 - 7 year olds.

Fantastic for my six year old. Fired his curiosity. It is not the contents of the box that are remarkable (do not expect glow in the dark 3D models) but the fact you cut out, glue, fetch a torch, plant, observa and understand.

The parts of the kit that were in the box were good quality and fun but I was disappointed that parts of the kit were not there even though it was a sealed pack. The rings for the the pots were not there nor was the poster/chart and arrow pieces. The pieces for the quiz wheel where also missing. If all the parts were there this would get five stars..I know I should get in touch with the supplier but as its for a current project on space I feel it's easier just to substitute the missing pieces worth things from home.
