We were given one of these for our little girl who absolutely loves it and have since given them to other friends as gifts too as they're really cute and such good value too. The velcro attachment means you can strap onto the pram or car seat without fear of loosing it. She loves the bright colours, grabbing the ribbons and the shapes. One of the few soft toys suitable from birth too.

I bought this for my 4 month son for Christmas. I've bought Jellycat toys for my other children and always been really happy with them. This is no exception. The bright colours immediately attracted his attention and it has improved his skills at reaching and grabbing no end. The two little rings are just the right size for tiny hands to grip and the buggy strap is really useful. Overall, this is a really lovely, educational toy for little ones.

On a recent rip to John Lewis, this owl caught my 6 months' old eye and it truly was love at first sight. Out of the dozens of comforters/plushtoys/"collectible" friends my son has been given, this one just outdoes them all. He grabs it by the ring and star and loves looking at the colours and the eyes, while chewing the corners, the top "handle" and again the star and ring. Whenever he sees his Owl, he smiles and it keeps him entertained and soothed. Definitely not one to forget on a day out. He barely even looks at Sophie anymore!

cute but not impressed
