Ah yes - following his triumph with "The Floral Dance" (can it really be so long ago?), Sir Terry returns to storm the Christmas music chart with "Little Drummer Boy" and teach those X Factor johnnies a thing or two about a getting a Christmas Number One.
In a previous incarnation, this seasonal ditty was performed by two relatively unknown and obscure artists - David Bowie and Bing Crosby - but here the entertainment collossus that is Sir Terry (he of the racing snake figure and bulging muscles) joins with young upstart singer and part-time Radio 2 DJ Aled Jones in a wonderful rendition of the song - all in aid of Children in Need.
While non-believers may quibble perhaps that Sir Terry didnt do "all" the harmonies himself - Sir Terry's loyal band of TOGS (Terrys old geezers) will be doing all they can to help propel the track into the stratosphere of Christmas sales.

Sir Terry is a living Legend and Aled is a very gifted and talented vocalist. This song works as well as the Bing and David version, and it is for Children in Need. Buy it now.

Well, this was the tune that made me break my vow of never downloading music from the Net. A beautiful version of a classic tune that genuinely gives me goosebumps. We all knew that Aled has a lovely tenor voice, but sir Terry must have been taking lessons since the days of the F____ D____.
I'll be getting the CD next week, so it counts towards the Christmas No. 1 - also I quite like the look of the other tracks, particularly Mark Radcliffe doing a Bernard Cribbins.

Great fun and a good song for a great cause
I got the whole CD as it reminded me of listening to Junior Choice and I like to support Children in need. It makes me laugh and the kids complain as I sing along. Love it!
