Excellent for beginners this starts really simply and assumes no in depth knowledge. At the same time the later chapters apply to more competent gardener a so it covers all bases and allows you to grow as a gardener. It was exactly what I was looking for as it starts with small pot projects allowing confidence and experience to be built over time.

I found it difficult to find a book with such a simple straight forward approach that would take me from novice through to more ambitious projects and for that reason I think this book is well worth the money.
