Review
The Little Book of Vegan Poems is a delightful collection of poetry for your vegan child. It's the first vegan poetry book for children I have come across, so it's quite a pleasant surprise. Offering up 22 poems in all, there are topics from everyday vegan living to animal and human rights and environmental concerns that will touch any child's heart. With Benjamin's &"radical rapper" approach some of his poems will stir a bit of activism into their soul as well. --http://www.vegfamily.com/book-reviews/little-vegan-poems.htm
Benjamin Zephaniah is simply amazing. This wonderful book provides all the reasons why people should be vegans. With levity and intelligence Benjamin wondrously writes about animal rights, ecology, reverence for all life, health and the paramount goal to live in a universally peaceful planet. This is a must read for children and adults who love animals and who want the world to become a more humane and less violent place. --Brien Comerford, Amazon reviewer
The Little Book of Vegan Poems, aimed at both children and adults, begins with a compilation of definitions from various dictionaries and encyclopedias before moving into the poetry. This little book has it all: veganism, animal rights, nature, limericks, hell, even vegan erotic poetry some cute, some vaguely disturbing, many nonsensical, all eco-friendly, makes me wonder if this book was printed on recycled paper. --http://www.spiralnature.com/reviews/fiction-literature/little-book-vegan-poems-benjamin-zephaniah.html
