Love them or hate them, the Caravan is here to stay! The Little Book of Caravans by Steve Lanham is a thoroughly researched and well written history of the Carvan and how it became such a well-loved British obsession! With great historical photographs supplied by the Cravan Club and National Motor Museum, this well produced book is excellent value and whilst entertaining to read, the author still manages to be informative and provide a valuable insight into the subject.

Bought this for my hubby for a stocking filler - I assume it was ok as he has taken it away with us to read in our caravan and he didn't put it down for a couple of hours. Definitely good value for money if nothing else.

A book written to fill a small gap? It had formats that looked to be influenced by other books of this nature, ie some of the Chapters. Also errors such as Cosalt being part of CI-basically not true. Pictures in this found in the Roger Elsmere pre war history book so not very original. Written with little knowledge - author clearly used other material to do the research. Nice try but lacks substance - shame it could have been a good little book otherwise.
