Product Description

The Little Book of Aston Martin is a 128-page hardback book written by motoring writer Philip Raby.   Aston Martin - those two simple words conjure up exciting images in any enthusiast's mind. Images of power, speed and elegance with a dash of suavity thrown in.  This little book gives a potted history of Aston Martin, outlining the company's chequered background and how it has evolved to be the prestige marque it is today, recognised around the world.  It also features some of the most interesting and important road-going models that Aston Martin has produced over the years complete with performance figures and statistic fact boxes.

A fantastic book for the 'little boy' in adult men with a passion for classic Aston's. Handy size to pick up, flick through, put down, pick up again, and so it continues - will he ever get tired of it?!!

the little book of Aston Martin 15 Nov 2009
By Robert Bausch - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is great! And a pleasant surprise. As the author states in the beginning, it is a "potted history" of Aston Martin. And it does take you on a chronological tour of Aston's journey, with short articles on the important cars. But it really has some interesting facts and little known items about Aston Martin you might not find elsewhere.

It could have benefitted from a more detailed proofreading, as there are a few typos. And the photo on page 96 is of the later V12 DB7 Vantage, not the V8 Vantage described. But this really didn't detract from my enjoyment. Highly recommended.
