When this book arrived at my home, immediately I sat down to read it. Now only is Julie Andrews one of my favorite people, but the books make it obvious that she wrote them. She gives details of the boat that Billy and Bo are on, and not only did I learn a bit more about sea travel, but she also made the relationship between Bo and Panache, the male cat on board come alive. There are flights of fantasy that are unique with Julie.
The description she gives of London makes it obvious that she has been there. The details make the book come alive, and the ending is a surprise. The first "Bo" book carries into the second, and even the third is tied into this last one. I highly recommend it for anyone, especially for children who are independent readers. I encourage my grandchildren to read, and this is a great one for them or any child who loves to read.
