Informative 10 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
This book details the rise and rise of the little black dress or lbd since its origins in 1926. With detailed knowledge and information of the lbd through each decade it gives the reader an insight into the essential garment every woman should have in their wardrobe. As well as a good literary knowledge the book boasts arty black and white photographs showing anything from the women who have worn the lbd whether cartoon or real life figures to art work showing women in history wearing the little black dress. A handy bible to any fashionista or anyone who takes an intrest in the history of fashion.

Breakfast at Tiffanys! What a super, fun and pratical book. The little black dresses legacy as an arbitor of fashion and good taste is world renowned.Practically all females and probably a large percentage of males can relate to their girlfriends overstuffed warddrobe dilemma of, I don't have a stitch to wear! Preceeded by 'Eureka' Why of course, my little black dress.I would highly recommend this delightful morsel for any fashion concious woman.
