I just couldn't stop reading the book once I got hold of it. It's great to be able to tell your children bedtime stories like these. It really is hypnotizing! The variety of themes blew me away and there is certainly a great deal of imagination. A parent would definitely want to share with the children what this little book has to say.

great at bedtime 8 Feb 2009

I started reading bedtime stories to my baby from 1.5 months (he's now 6mths old). He responds very positively to this, smiling when I do silly voices etc. It's surprisingly difficult to find books with short stories without them being too short and over simplified. This is a great book for reading aloud and has a lot of subject variety. It's also little enough to be taken on holiday or to grandma's house. My only criticism is that we were sent the American version, which has some different vocabulary to the UK version.
