5.0 out of 5 stars This book really helped 23 Aug 2011

I bought this book to try and help my 3 year old understand that her grandad (my dad had passed away). I wanted a book that was not religious. As most books aimed at children grieving mention heaven and I did not want to explain my dad's sudden death in that way. My 3 year old likes the book and seemed to understand fully, after reading it, along with a long chat with mummy that she would not be able to physically see her grandad again. She occasionally askes for me to read the book to her. And although I often cry when reading it to her, thats ok, and she understands that mummy and she can still miss grandad, and we talk about him whenever we like. I would recommend it to anyone with small children who have been put in a similar situation.

2.0 out of 5 stars Condition not as described 9 Jun 2014

Condition described as "very good", when it actually had a lot of dirty marks over the front and back cover and writing on the inside. Very misleading description to say it is "very good".
